I've been meaning to post a few videos on here. Finally got around to editing and uploading them.
This one was taken on May 5. It is of Caleb laughing after I tried to blow a bug off one of my plants. I don't know why he thought it was so funny, but it cracked this boy up! I had to cut some of it out because it was just too long. He could have gone on forever, I think, if I had kept doing it. Double click on the video to view in widescreen.

Caleb's 1st birthday!

On May 15, Caleb turned one year old! I can hardly believe my baby is one already. This year sure has gone by fast. For his birthday, we had an airplane party, since the air show was going on that weekend here on base (and Caleb likes to watch the planes flying around outside). I made these invitations that look like boarding passes...I got the idea online. This is what it looked like (I deleted our address and phone number):Grammie (my mom) came to town, and a few of our friends came over to celebrate with us. I also tried my hand at an airplane cake. I was rushed at the end to finish it, but it definitely resembled an airplane, so I was happy. It was all from scratch too. We decided to let Caleb try some of his birthday cake, and he thoroughly enjoyed it!He also liked opening all his presents, but wanted to play with each one of them, like I used to do when I was little. At the end, we had a paper airplane flying contest. Caleb won with an airplane folded by me, but flown by Maddi (a little girl across the street). It was a fun-filled day overall!
