C-17

When Paul's dad and Sheree were visiting, Paul took us on base to see the plane he flies. I think his dad really enjoyed seeing what his son does for a living. I am always impressed that he knows what all the knobs and buttons do and can make this huge piece of metal soar! For those of you wondering what the C-17 Globemaster does, it carries cargo of all kinds...tanks, troops, palets of supplies, etc. Click here for the Air Force info sheet on the C-17. The video on that page says the plane can carry the equivalent of 71 African elephants! That's a lot of weight! Here are some pictures:
