Visits from Grandmas

Paul's mom came to visit mid December. While she was here, we toured around San Antonio and celebrated an early Christmas. The slideshow below features some of the things we did, including: Tower of the Americas, The Alamo, The River Walk, eating dinner along the River Walk at Casa Rio, getting serenaded by a mariachi band, taking a boat tour, opening presents, and a lights show at our friends' house.

My mom also came to visit. She arrived a few days before Christmas and left after New Year's. We did some of the same tourist things with her as we did with Paul's mom, and a few other things. The slideshow includes: going on base to see a T-6 (what Paul is flying now), opening Christmas presents, Daddy reading the Christmas story, Tower of the Americas, The Alamo, The River Walk, eating dinner along the River Walk at Landry's Seafood Restaurant, New Year's Eve with our friends the Hunters, Caleb playing, and walking the dogs.

Caleb had a really great first Christmas, even though we are still pretty displaced (we are really looking forward to getting settled in MS!). He was more interested in tearing the wrapping paper than playing with his toys, but I guess we expected that. We took lots of videos, but I'm not sure I'll get around to editing and posting them any time soon. Gotta get caught up again!
