This is how Caleb prefers to sleep. Isn't his little butt so cute up in the air? I love it. (Sorry Caleb for the bad haircut Mommy gave you!)

Back in March, after we moved in, my mom came for several days to help us unpack and watch Caleb while we got some things done around the house. She was so helpful! She and Caleb had a lot of fun together too. Caleb enjoyed making her laugh with his little scrunched up face he makes, and he loved being chased by Grammie...he can crawl pretty fast! We're excited to be a little closer to her now...it's only about 4.5 hours to her house.

Crawling around.

Caleb started to wave "hi" and "bye" about mid-March. Here's a picture of him demonstrating. You can't really tell, but he was waving.

Pulling up to look out the window.

Right after we moved in, Paul started building the raised beds for our organic garden. We filled them with soil we got free here on base, which looked pretty good, but our plants aren't doing very well. In hindsight, we should have put some better quality soil in there or at least mixed some in. Hopefully we'll be able to grow a few good plants.

Caleb had fun feeling and playing in the grass for the first time. I wouldn't let him out on the grass in our apartment complex in TX because there was so much dog stuff around. Our yard isn't much better, but at least I know who has been on it and can keep it clean. Those are leaves he's playing with (I think).
