Birth Center Babies

Early in September, we got together for lunch with our friends the Goodlins and the Lanes, who are in our Sunday school class and also gave birth at the Charleston Birth Place. Ashley and I talked about natural childbirth for the last few months of our pregnancies, and I think Melissa thought we were crazy until she researched it a little more herself. After she learned a little more about it, she decided to go there as well and had an amazing experience. Turns out it was a GREAT decision for all of us! Now we (and our husbands) are all natural childbirth advocates and truly believe it is the best option for both mom and baby, for healthy pregnancies. As Melissa said "Just say NO to drugs!" I believe women today don't have enough confidence in themselves, but it's what our bodies were made to do! Anyway, we had fun getting together, sharing stories, and enjoying our little boys.
